there are a number of people stating that they plan on getting the ps3 version(it also comes with a free pc/mac version) and a gamestop article earlier showed that the (preorder) sales for portal have it at number one whereas the xbox sales are on in 6th.
so yes I do believe that it will affect sales, hope that cleared things up for you a little
