Wow! I have a great source for sales and pre order numbers and my source tells me cod aw on X1 is at 210k so close enough for VG lol. Halo MCC is 135k . And ACU for the ps4 85k with a big loss in orders. Funny my source says the order 1886 has 163k with no mention of any loss of pre orders but then I didn't even think to ask with the release so far away but I will after seeing what the experts at VGCharts had to say errrr make up\ pretend.

For me it comes down to how the developer wants to treat gamers. And clearly the Ubisoft Assassin Creed Unity developer has taken sides. The Assassin Creed Unity devs do not want the Xbox Box One console owners to feel "second class" with the Unity game and to be clear that is what they said. I think had you mentioned this PS4 updated coming the day Sunset Overdrive releases you would have been dead on saying "it's sneaky"! However big the Sunset OD game is for the X1 this Share Play app is a game changer for not just Sony but for all gamers. Soon the X1 will have it " early 2015"? and if they can do it for the WII U I hope they put it in and also PC. This Ubisoft title dose not meet "my" standards for "my" machine. I will not purchase a title where the game Developer has be misleading and dishonest IMO. I like many Ubisoft titles but on this one IMO they are more concerned with their relationship with Microsoft than their relationship with the gamers buying this game. Did this even need to be said? The last Gears was a waste of money so where ever they were going well that ship sank. So what are their options? They have none. Darker is not a bad thing and clearly not for gears as they never should have left that track to begin with.

IMO We'll be seeing a lot of that comment when this title releases. I think the game dev see's that and in an effort to get out In front of it put that out there in the msg. A good idea but if this game falls short like so many other games "pretty much every game" that comment is going to blow up!

After the first day after the DC release anyone who got this game knew what they getting into. Those that got it on release well that's the chance you take. I remember when TitanFall released and I played it a couple hours on my XB360 and thought I was mislead and flat out lied to and I wanted a refund as that game did not meet the hype, reviews nor the scores it got and on top of that I just didn't like it.
