I can see your points, but it's mainly down to idiots being idiots online, and spoiling people's fun online by cheating, griefing and shouting down the mic at you.
Having had the PSN down for a good while now, I do miss it when I'm on my PS3 - even if I'm not actually playing online, it's great to see what my friends are doing and to be able to message them.
All in all, I think we would be better of if internet gaming didn't exist for ...
I would say no, but I couldn't read your article because the link 404ed.
EDIT: Good, it's fixed now. :)
Haha - that's hilarious.
While I agree, by the look of the site, it doesn't seem like too much time or effort actually went into making it.
From what I saw at the Gadget Show Live, the screen is actually very good quality. I was actually taken aback by how impressive it was.
Of course, it all depends on what you're watching.
Edit:
It seemed bright enough, although I do have problems with my iPod Touch outside even when on full brightness, so it would surprise me if it wasn't great outdoors.
Really? But this phone has only just come out, or not come out yet (depending on what country you're in)!
What's so bad about it that it's already dead?
Wow, I was only reading this morning on Twitter about how Notch WASN'T going to release a mod API, but now he is.
Took all of half a day to change his mind!
If the rumours are to be believed, it was because of people using Custom Firmwares to pirate stuff from PSN that the network's down, so it's not surprising Sony went after CFW users because this is exactly the sort of stuff that (some) people do with jailbreaks.
Sony's losing money as we speak with the PSN down - stop demanding reimbursement.
I think it would be great if PS+ and other subscription members get another week or so added to their subscription free of charge, to cover the days they missed.
But the people going around on the PS Blog saying £20 gift cards to PSN members and £50 to PS+ is ridiculous. If there's 70 million accounts that's £140,000,000 not counting PS+ users.
...
While I agree that Naughty Dog make great games, this article's about Sucker Punch, not Naughty Dog.
I'm pretty sure Heavenly Sword is by Ninja Theory (who also did Enslaved). :|
You serious - Sony don't already own Sucker Punch?
Why don't they buy them!? Sucker Punch's games are great, and with another exclusive party under their belt, Sony would a great head-start next generation.
Would still have appreciated a demo. :(
If you have such a strong disagreement to these articles being approved, why not look at the pending articles and report them as "duplicate" or something?
@Graphics
I was almost agreeing with you until "you people deserve to get credit fraud".
Nobody deserves to be on the end of credit fraud.
While I agree, (I have been told) there have been exploits in Call of Duty games that have occured in the previous games too.
Hate to say it, but if the game was balanced and tested enough then exploits wouldn't be a problem.
As for hacking - that's just annoying.
Maybe some BF fans didn't Like it because they don't have Facebook - that's my excuse.
Anonymous probably did do it, just a different section from the one that is denying it.
Remember all of those statements from a part of Anonymous the other day, claiming that they had been attacking Sony, but had now stopped?
There have been statements saying both they did and didn't do it.
Either one section is lying, or Anon has become fragmented - it's just a matter of waiting and seeing the outcome.
While I agree the woman in the NFS trailer does look like Chell, I don't think it actually is. It just wouldn't make sense.
