Trust EA to put the consumer first and develop a secure forced DRM. Oh wait.
That's a very good length for a single player game. Usually the only games with longer play times than that are RPGs.
They didn't unveil it because it's actually a PC.
I have faith that CD Projekt will nail this one. I've been a fan since they released the first Witcher game, and they are by far one of my favorite new developers.
This is CD Projekt we're talking about here. As far as I'm concerned they shit solid gold.
Max Payne 3 was excellent. Sure it wasn't the exact same as all of the other Max Payne games but it was still a fantastic game.
I don't recall any experienced reviewers using Skyrim as a measuring stick for other unrelated games.... Well, except for Far Cry 3 but that actually became somewhat of a joke with even Ubisoft using "like Skyrim with guns" in one of their ads.
Oh, that was a disappointing article. I was expecting ripped as in copypasted. It's not so much "ripped" as "used as an uncredited photo reference." Down to using buzzwords for extra hits are we Kotaku?
Just looked through them. Were ANY of them new? I just did a replay of this game in anticipation of the expansion and all of those are characters from the normal campaign except that guy with the scar on his face in the third shot. I don't recognize him.
Apple couldn't exclusively make money off of it so they don't want it.
Samuel L Jackson playing a dirty cop in a GTA game counts as "Playing himself?"
@nerdkiller as a psychology major your entire post makes me sad. Just because that's how YOU grew up doesn't make it the right way.
As already mentioned, not the greatest list. Some of these were really obvious. Mike Tyson as Mike Tyson in Mike Tyson's Heavyweight Boxing?
Great. Right when I was finally being convinced that maybe this new Dante isn't so bad, you show up and post that image. I hate him again now. Congrats.
People are just becoming impossible to please lately with box-arts. Bioshock goes for a realistic look, gets slammed. Dead Island goes for the hand-drawn artsy look, gets slammed. I propose we just make all box arts plain black with the game logo centered.
I find it interesting that they chose a SSD drive as the primary and an HDD as optional. Personally would have gone the other way around for various rather obvious reasons.
First one is from The Darkness 2
Guild Wars 2 players LOVE escort missions. They're good for XP and usually part of a chain of events.
The signatures weapons are ridiculously overpowered and it's very easy to unlock a great deal of them early in the game. They almost ruin the experience.
The comparison to other "Standalone expansions" isn't quite fitting. Dark Arisen also includes the full original "Dragon's Dogma" with it, Warcraft/Diablo/DungeonSeige did not.
