i have no rose tinted glasses about it at all... i love turn based rpg's and i love them because of final fantasy, and i still love mostly all of them to this day, child of light, south park stick of truth, costume quest 2, pier solar... i buy, play and enjoy the hell out of all of them, and sadly it is but a memory for final fantasy now, im kinda sad for people who didnt get to play those or for people who apparently hate turn based because they are too add to realize just how great and ...
exactly what i was thinking as well :'(
half a gig is a small patch? :O lol i guess in relation to game sizes now you'd be right but seriously plenty of games that are awesome are about that size or a bit more in their entirety
the only defense anything gaming related is that the consumers keep buying or putting up with it... that is all the defense a game dev needs... the bottomline is sales and if it keeps selling then guess what even if its bad they will keep making it :/
i miss good ole normal turn based final fantasy so much... i buy every turn based game that i hear of when it comes out and without fail they are normally my most enjoyed games of that half of the year... south park stick of truth, costume quest 2, child of light, pier solar etc etc ... not sure why its looked at with such disdain in final fantasy now... dont try and reinvent the wheel when the car you had already put the wheel on was rolling perfectly fine up until ffx :/ maybe i just cant ...
i'd rather have 60 fps personally... do what you got to for that frame rate
what??? you meant to tell me a newly released game is complete shit??? in this day and age surely not :O :O ... and this is why after the fiasco that was 2014 and what has become gaming nowadays i refuse to buy anything for at least the first month its out :/ not being a glorified unpaid beta tester for this shit game devs anymore, i got enough of a back log of older games that actually work to keep me busy
they say it doesnt need it... but everytime i hear day one patch i just get a little salty honestly sigh :/
i dont get the "its a shame mcc is so broken" statements... how is it a shame? they rushed the shit out with a subpar team and it was an incomplete pile of crap on many fronts, thats not a shame, thats a deserved failure for lack of quality... everyone "trusting" 343 like they have earned any trust, they havent made a single stellar halo game IMO and i see no reason for me personally to believe they ever can do so at this point, i mean hell they pretty much ruined half the...
yea because when i think of cod, i think of that giant skill gap that makes it so hard for everyone to play... cough cough sarcasm to the extreme... gtfo here, they have dumbed cod down so much im surprised it doesnt play itself nowadays :/
why should a very very small percentage of cod players aka pros who literally strip the game down to the 1% of stuff they use have any say in what goes on in the game? i mean seriously they use a max of like 4 different weapons and the same exact set of perks every single time and only play on like 5 maps ... why should the other 12 or so guns and 5 or so maps suffer because they are basically ignored... havent they noticed this downward trend in sales since they started this listening to pro...
i was scrolling down to see who else noticed this... sadly it was all the way down here :/ gamers are clueless to who helped build gaming nowadays man :/
sure preorder so you can get something useles in a broken game on release that takes months to fix and then after its almost working decent, you realize there is nothing of worth there in the base game because they modeled it so that to get the full experience you have to get dlc... i can only imagine why people are pissed at this model... video games are literally the only technology that seems to have gotten worse with time... movies, tv shows, computers, cell phones... all gotten astonishi...
kinda jumping the gun on metal gear 5 and witcher arent you? considering they havent even released yet... just saying i thought plenty of games werent going to be shady before they came out from once loved game devs and they turned out to be more of the same bullshit ive come to loathe about games now... so just that you are basing those games alone off reputation is still a bit much for my trust level with games nowadays personally... i refuse to put any trust in any dev until they have full...
disasters- unity, the crew, watch dogs... all pretty bad IMO... child of light was fantastic and far cry 4 was ok-ish not as good as 2 or 3 but still solid enough... valiant hearts was a pretty neat game but that stupid mini game achievement at the end for not missing a note was enough to almost ruin an other wise great game with that horrid mechanic alone... they had something to do with the stick of truth too i think? but i havent played it personally but hear good things ... still those fi...
just another nail in the coffin... really glad i seen that one coming and just quit playing... they got my original investment but will never get any repeat business from me... just like dice on bf4 i refuse to buy hardline just for the fact of the matter of how tarnished and ripped i felt from the last bf game, even a new dev team couldnt wash the sour taste out of my mouth... bungie has lost a customer in me and i would imagine im not the only one, but i really do wish these shady tactics w...
preordering anything from dice is just a big no no for me... dice launches have been awful in recent memory... and EA is well, not known for being very awesome either... plus preordering in this age of day one updates and dlc announced before games even come out just kind of puts a sour taste in my mouth honestly
and this is a prime example of what i loathe about games nowadays ... dlc being announced (regardless of price) months upon months before the actual game is even released :/ just puts a sour taste in my mouth
halo going upward??? lolz the xbox live player count will def disagree with you there dont make me laugh.. halo is a shell of its former self period, im a giant halo fan but to deny halo is dead and dying is just pointless... its an over the hill franchise and its going to fade into oblivion soon enough... its going to be sad but thats where its going
even if they call it underground 3... or make it the same style... it means nothing if they gameplay isnt comparable... and without that nice twitchy, arcade, kinda brake, kinda let off the gas dodge traffic and cut corners gameplay it will just be another stale drifting around corners burnout ripoff with a need for speed badge slapped on it ... nfs and final fantasy are like the 2 biggest games from my early gaming years, and now i dont buy or look forward to either but am just waiting for s...
