Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, and Halo Reach, I doubt it. Those are probably gonna be the most popular/hyped of the year though.
Bioshock 2, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, Mod Nation Racers, and Alan Wake seem more likely. I will be getting mass effect, heavy rain, and tlg for sure. The others I'll wait for reviews. Or game play that makes my jaw drop.
I would add Borderlands to that and take away mw2. Most people were bashing it before it came out. So how can it be disappointing to you? It was better than I thought it would be so I am happy. Invite a friend over to play coop and you will have a blast. Borderlands on the other hand..... not so much.
@Dchalfont I cant say a game is GOTY status without playing it. But this will certainly be MY rpg of the year without a doubt. Preordered the LE yesterday along with Heavy Rain. 2010 FTW!

I have a hard time believing it is satire. They gave the game a 9.5.
@el zorro to be honest a game based on multilayer has to do something drastic to be labeled a sequel in my eyes. not just added melee weapons. which should have been in the first game btw. And It should be in development for more than a year. I can go on and give u examples if you want me to.

I guess I am the minority. But I was not impressed by this movie at all. District 9 had a severe identity crisis. It tried being too many things at once. To name a few a comedy, action movie, negative portrayal of human nature, took some shots at modern politics, racism, borat, WWII, etc, etc.. make up your damn mind. The only character with morals was the Christopher Johnson (prawn with the son). No morals equals cynical depressing movie. And 90% of the action took place in the last 30 mins....

I borrowed Soul Reaver on ps1 from a friend back in 3rd grade. So I played it, never beat it, and cant remember a damn thing about it lol. But I have heard good things. Maybe I'll give the series another go sometime.
Freedom Fighters and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. Are both great and overlooked last gen titles imho. I pray to the gods everyday for the announcement of Freedom Fighters 2. As for Romance of the Three Kingdoms I will be shocked if there isnt another one in the works. I call that game old faithful...
