This rumor.
WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.
That dude from House would bring a much more vocal, wise cracking Gordan Freeman, something fans would hate, while average movie goers would find entertaining.
I've logged about 500+ total hours into COD4 on the PC. I've bought the PS3 version of MW2 and play well above average, getting 30+ kills with less than 2 deaths on TDM games.
Point being, MW2 is a downright slap in the face to serious competitive gamers. Its fun don't get me wrong, I love jumping into a match with some coworkers and friends. But I cannot take MW2 seriously... face it people, its made for the average joe. Because average joe is a noob.
Side note, I t...
RememberThe357, I said MOST HDTVs produce more heat, quit being so absolute.
Linuxguru, some HDTV's (like my Samsung), have internal fans, while most don't, so your right, the heat does just radiates around them.
Did Killzone 2 drop off the face of the earth or something? I'm not surprised it didnt get the win, but not even a runner up slot?
Do the folks over at Gamervision own a PS3?
Inspiring?
Kojima, don't kid yourself.
Most HDTVs and LCDs produce more heat than your console.
A good idea for COD or any other game, would be a "Yank" feature. If your close enough to an enemy while their in prone, you can steal their main weapon.
Imagine a sniper aiming down the scope one second, then its gone and you are forced to whip out your secondary.
Insert some kind of laughter sound and we got ourselves a new gameplay element.
I wish all my gaming moments were captured. I've done this exact thing countless times, like the time I had a full conversation in text chat with this sniper in COD4 on the PC. Was a small server with about 10 people or so, I kept saying stuff like, I'm gonna find you etc. He would say stuff like, Not if I shoot you first etc.
All the while, I was prone behind him.
Its only lame because I've been doing this for years, and considerably easier too, because with most PC games, you just bring up the text box and start typing. Example.

PSN would be the next best thing, because the subject pops up in the top left portion of the screen.

Seeing some of these don't really piss me off, it just makes me feel bad for em. Like "eLiTeSnIpEr45633" or something like that. Basically these kids picked the most unoriginal name, combining two of the most used words in username history.
Clan tags don't really bother me, I've spanked some randoms sporting the F34R tags, and a ton other nameless wannabe MLG kids.
What does bother me, are the unpronounceable names, because I like to let people know if ther...

Aside from The State, and all its hilarity. I really do enjoy watching my Tomagotchi die. That'll teach you to digitally poop on my rug!
I find it funny how these modders can do these kinds of things, but they can't hold a camera steady to save their life.
Also, LEDs on the front was a stupid idea.
The game has to have an additional A attached to two preceding A's. For example, AA is just two A's. While AAA is two A's with an extra A slapped on for good measure. Inversely, if you had for example, one A, you can add two A's to that single A, which of course, if you've been paying attention, this would give you Three A's. Now, you might be asking yourself, what if I combine three single A's? Well, if you guessed triple A's, you would be correct!

Best year in gaming.

-Final Fantasy X (The best one IMO)
-Max Payne (One of my all time favorites)
-Silent Hill 2 (Best of the series)
-Ico (Great game that paved the way for Shadow of the Colossus)
-Devil May Cry (Action genre explodes onto the scene)
-Grand Theft Auto 3 (One of my all time favorites)
-Tony Hawk 3 (H...
Gonna have to disagree with the guy above.
AC2 was a steaming pile just like the first.
If they were cheaper, they would sell more!
Hear hear!
I have mixed feelings about MAG. The tech and everything behind it really is amazing, but as a shooter, its pretty dull. Seems like everything in the game has been done before, but better. The weapons are uninspiring, the movements don't flow together well enough, and the annoying bullet whizzing sound effects make the game sound cheesy.
I'm sure theres alot of MAG fans out there right now, probably because of its shear size and use of teamwork, but the game didn't draw me in eno...
