Localization to North America and Europe I hope?
Without Nintendo, I probably wouldn't be a gamer as I am now.
"The game's combat system is party based, giving you a party of at most three characters. During the early parts of the story, party members will be swapped in and out for you. However, as you advance in the story, you'll be able to freely switch out members."
Oh dear, this is going to be like Final Fantasy XIII all over again...
I literally bought 3 copies of Valkyria Chronicles because I support the developers of this marvelous game series.
400 hours of gameplay, and the price of (I think) $39.99....
That is one helluva deal!
Wasn't there already an MGS Trilogy collection on the Playstation 2?
^^^
Don't mind Joel, he must be another inconsiderate person who must be eager to annoy others. Plus he's already making quick judgment of a game that has already been revealed this week by assuming the music is going to be terrible. *sigh* just another reason why I hate todays game generation of kids.
You are one of the very few people who acutally enjoyed X-2s music! I myself actually liked its music, especially the Eternity of Lightwaves ^_^. And yes I d...
In North America and Europe, I do believe the game will be released in Winter of 2012. As for Japan, they will receive it in Winter of 2011.
The reason for such a long delay is because I believe Square has to hire voice actors, and translate the Japanese language to English.
I'm very curious to know who is going to compose the soundtrack for XIII-2. Masashi Hamauzu, the composer for the original XIII, left Square-Enix after the completion of Final Fantasy XIII. So now I'm wondering if Square is going to hire a new composer to make music for this upcoming sequel.
In other words, Nintendo is just being lazy to port The Last Story to Europe and North America.
Ummm yes it does matter.
The Last Story score: 38/40
That's not bad.
@The_Great_D
"clearly you never heard of the ps exclusive FINAL FANTASY 7. yeah 13 sold fast but so what, it sold like 2 million. ff7 sold 10 million. get ur facts straight."
Final Fantasy VII has been released in stores for 13 YEARS. Clearly that game would sell millions after a dozen years of its release. As for Final Fantasy XIII, that game sold more than 5.5 million copies worldwide! And you know waht else? That game isn't even a year ol...
Was there a sole reason why Square-Enix changed Agito XIII to Type=0?
Versus XIII gameplay reminds me of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
No more goofy dialogues please.
Sad, the Smackdown vs. RAW series are having similar traits with EA's Madden: Update the rosters, change some controls here and there, add one or two more features, and there ya go!
@blumatt
"I don't care if all the other FFs go to the 360. Just give me one exclusive FF (Versus 13) so I can see what the PS3's hardware can really do for a Final Fantasy game."
So if Square-Enix were to suddenly announce a remake Final Fantasy VII to the Playstation 3, but they would also announce an Xbox360 version as well, it wouldn't bother you in the slightest?
I was hoping Sakaguchi would announce a worldwide release...
I wish ATLUS were the publishers of Dark Soul rather than Namco Bandai Games.
In my opinion, Namco Bandai doesn't deserve a penny unless they decide to localize their Tales games to North America and Europe.
