Isn't this exactly what nintendo is doing? You can have your acct on multiple consoles but only one at a time can access the game?

I always thought "certificates" might be a neat idea. Especially for kids. If you earn a platinum trophy/certificate you could go on my nintendo and print it out. Heck, nintendo could sell special paper. I could see kids decorating their rooms with them, putting them in a binder and showing friends at school, whatever. Just thought this would be an interesting take on it

Nintendo can't afford to fail again. They have to listen. I could care less about how many games I get, just let me keep them as long as I subscribe. I'm also betting it's going to be $30 for a year. Half of the other two will look good to parents trying to choose a console at xmas
What he's saying is art direction can make a game timeless. Like windwaker. That was a GameCube game that still looks fantastic. Uncharted is one of my 5 favorite franchises ever, yet 10 years from now it will look severely dated. Windwaker won't look dated 50 years from now. It's literally a piece of art. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but timeless regardless.
I love reading these comments. You basically just say how power is useless if you don't create right games. Nintendo makes unbelievably good games on underpowered hardware that is every bit as fun as the high powered stuff. The people on these boards agree about power being meaningless right up until someone mentions nintendo. Then it's a down vote party. It's hilarious how sad these people are. They can't just call it a portable with ability to be played on tv. They don't want to kill the 3ds if this doesn't sell. They will kill the 3ds if it takes off and all those games that would be on 3ds will go to switch.
Yes, nintendo doesn't rush to show anything. They hate delaying games. They hate how it makes people angry. So they hide it till it's nearly done. Not to mention Microsoft and Sony are usually quick to copy whatever they are doing. Analog stick, rumble, motion, etc. I'm betting they have a crazy e3 showing alot more Mario, fire emblem, a new Mario kart, new smash, maybe Mario golf or f zero, then crush everyone with an insane metroid trailer. E3 is positioned right in a switch dry...
