Current gen should have launched around 2011-12 with their current hardware specifications, the problems is the 7th gen consoles lasted longer then expected(8 years -), likely due to the recession and neither console maker wanted to launch new consoles at a loss with the weakened economy so they postponed the new consoles launch and made the consoles to be more cost effective, with hardware components comparable to mid tier gpu/cpu pc system performance from around 2011, but that's where...
I just hope the NX(SNES2) will still be more a traditional console and not too much digital/mobile focused.

This game deserves to be fun and interesting, even though most people don't own a wiiu, the game has a better chance with nintendo, ubisoft should stick to selling digital beanies and making games that don't exist as the final product.

The game world/level design of the souls games are the games real characters, in the way that everything in it has a reason for existing, its not just level designing to get through from point a-b, it tells a story, it make the game world feel more hostile and much bigger/more important then the player character, you fight this world and against all odds you rise against it, you beat everything it can throw at you and you feel empowered because of it.
Most MT's are just paid for cheat codes, cosmetics, priced right would be peoples personal choice/preference, but overpriced BS must be called out on.

If the Ps4k and XB1.5 is anything to go by I'd say the wiiu, a system made almost exclusively for nintendo software has lasted quite a long time.
Me 1 had a great revelation story and had was more an rpg then the games that followed it, but despite me2's rpg mechanics being "streamlined" and reducing character/npc dialogue interaction , me2 improved a lot in the combat, and character animation department, the unreal engine also ran better then the older euphoria engine, they should fuse the strength of both games and it will be great.
