Ah thank you very much man! I was getting a little worried since all these people were receiving their beta codes and I still haven't received mine yet.

Thanks again! :)

"An open world mp shooter with wall running and jumping abilities"

Sounds more like Crackdown than it does TitanFall imo.

I pre-ordered Destiny at Gamestop back in January and I registered and put in the code they gave me on my receipt on Bungie.net. Will I be receiving an email for my Beta code or....?

I would just like to point out that the programmer Sebastian Aaltonen is actually a very GREAT programmer who has done two other tech interviews with Digital Foundry before:

I still stand by my point. Microsoft's money as well as using the Xbox version for tournaments is why Activision markets the Xbox version of COD more. It's been this way for a long time already.

Though I'm sure if Sony came to Activision first about exclusive deals then the same would have been done for Playstation. So you're right, it was the good money MS paid.

Activision markets the Xbox version more than the Playstation version because the Xbox is the console they mostly use for their tournaments.

Call of Duty Championships for example, was on the Xbox One. UMG Niagra is on the Xbox 360.

@imt558

Project Spark is indeed on PC. But I believe it's a Windows 8 exclusive. So whichever version you get, you still give MS your money.

MS owns the Quantum Break IP. Unlike Alan Wake which was owned by Remedy which pretty much gave them the last say on which platforms to release it on. That and Alan Wake was pretty much demonstrated solely on PC before becoming exclusive to the 360 for a bit. MS may very well keep QB an XB1 exclusive for obvious rea...

I like how they introduced the Steam logo at the end there. That was pretty neat! lol

Music sounds amazing!

It's great to see how extremely positive the reception has been since Phil became head of Xbox. Even had a couple of people who work for Sony congratulate Phil. That's when you know things are headed in the right direction.

All sights are on E3 now. This will probably be Microsoft's Super Bowl or Game 7. Go big or go home. Hopefully Phil can deliver his promises of games at this years E3. Watching the interview with Major Nelson and Phil gives me high confidence t...

Damnit Red Storm, when are we going to get new information about Rainbow Six: Patriots?! We are due for a new Rainbow Six game! :(

Thank god for Phil. He literally breathes new life to the Xbox brand compared to that prick Don Mattrick. It's like trading away Rudy Gay for LeBron James. lol

And you don't have to be intelligent to play COD? All games have their competitive side to them and COD is no different. I'm a Halo person and I always will be, but I've checked out the competitive COD scene and games can get pretty intense.

Sure COD is pretty easy to pick up and play. But once you start matching a good team of 4 who know what they're doing, best believe you're going to get smacked.

Complexity has been dominating the COD scene for quite some time now. Even before the Xbox One came out. But I get the point you're trying to make.

If I don't get any Halo or Quantum Break news I may very well lose it. I want to see more of these games! D:

So developers have this to work with according to all this:

6 cores, 6 threads
5GB GDDR5
And of course PS4's powerful GPU

Not bad. Obviously later down the line Sony may optimize hardware so they can free up some RAM to developers. We're already getting some great looking games like Killzone so I am optimistic about the future.

I doubt it. Yes, the Xbox One is a lot weaker compared to the PS4 but it is still able to output amazing looking games given the developers put their time into each system.

What we're seeing right here with Watch Dogs at the moment while still great looking, is a massive downgrade to what we saw in the initial reveal. This looks like PS3/360 footage.

And for what it's worth, the XB1 version will be running at 960p while the PS4 will run at 1080p so th...

I don't think he meant it like that. He most likely meant that he didn't know controllers can receive updates.

@DoubleM70

I've heard of it but I don't know much about it. I'll hold you to this post once the game comes out.

60FPS has been confirmed. 1080p on the other hand... Eh, that seems a little far-fetched. Especially for the Xbox One considering all these sub-1080p games we've been getting.

My bet is it will be somewhere along the lines of the resolutions we've been getting which will be around 720-900p.

EDIT: ( http://www.eurogamer.net/ar... ) ...
