Then what about games like Stardew Valley and Rocket League? What about Axiom Verge? There are more, but I can't remember their names off the top of my head. There are plenty of ports that did more than good on the Switch, sales-wise.
Thing is, if the game is good, it's gonna sell - Simple as that.
Hell, even Disgaea 5, a port of a 2-year-old game did well enough on the Switch, even at full price.
While I agree port begging is a bit rampant at the moment ( It was no different than the Vita, though ), I believe the dislikes are because no one is actually begging for "most modern TRIPLE A games"
All I want is a localization of MH: XX and that's the only thing I'll beg for. Well, that and a Metroid Prime Trilogy would be awesome on the Switch, both games exclusive to Nintendo consoles.
Yeah, and Horizon: Zero Rewards, aside from having a cool setting, is basically a Ubisoft rehashed open world game. Well... the graphics are pretty amazing, but that's about it.
Of course, this isn't about Horizon, but I feel like many of the people commenting here are simply butthurt about Zelda being GOTY instead of a generic ( Again, aside from the setting ) open world game. But okay, have your fun commenting.
Maaan, if the story is all about Luffy, it'll be a huge disappointment for me. One Piece, for me, was always about the crew. About the camaraderie between them, their dynamics and everything else.
I'd rather play a game about Zoro than Luffy.
As a fan of the series with around 2-3 thousand hours of game time, I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by the demo.
A lot of the weapons have seen quite a few changes, but none of them feel overly OP or unnecessary. It really feels like a step in the right direction.
As for "dumbing down", I wouldn't really call it that. I'd call it making it more accessible, but the thing is, I still think that many people don't really know w...
Well... I mean, it's not like you see games like BOTW 891237489123479x times, unlike "story-driven" games full of dialogue, cutscenes and "cinematic experiences". But I agree Bloodborne and the Souls franchise are probably a favorite of mine too, along with some underrated gems, such as Yakuza, Nioh and Nier but also many other Indie games too. But I'd be lying if I said that BOTW was not one of the best games I've ever had the joy of playing.
@OffRoadKing because Destiny doesn't have exploration either. It's a pretty shit game, through and through. No RPG elements, Exotics are shit and not rare at all, you don't get any sense of wonder or accomplishment during the whole playthrough, there are no worthwhile secrets to find AND Bungie/Activision are screwing over their fans and customers in many other ways.
Another thing: Zelda BOTW wasn't marketed as "MIND BLOWING STORY" and Zelda games...
You mean exactly the same way how many people are trying to do with Horizon: Zero Dawn? Personally, I feel like it's way too similar to Ubisoft open world games, aside from the setting, it's basically Far Cry from 3rd person. The RPG elements are there, but to a similar extent that we see in Far Cry games.
Maybe it's like the new Tomb Raider and Far Cry had an absolutely gorgeous baby, and that's about it. Aside from the setting, nothing really stands out i...
Mario and Zelda aren't the only games that are keeping the Switch selling. Many indie titles, as well as 3rd party titles such as SF II and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 sold extremely well on the device, considering that SF II was priced at 40$ and DBX2 was a port of a year old game.
Then, you have the runaway hits like Mario + Rabbids, which was received extremely well by critics, Fire Emblem Warriors which did fairly well considering it's a Warriors game ( I love Warri...
If they make a HUGE step up from God Eater 2, then maybe. I doubt it will even be a contest otherwise.
Awesome! Since I borrowed MGSV and didn't get to platinum it on time, I will definitely be doing this now! Not that interested in Amnesia though.
The only good comment in this cancerous thread.
@EDMIX You also have to wonder why Dragon Quest XI sold way, way more on the 3DS than it did on the PS4.
Actually, Metroid was never huge in Japan, just like Zelda. Those numbers were somewhat expected.
A listing on Amazon Japan reveals the file size for Sonic Forces on Switch. If you plan on downloading the game, 7.042GB of space is required.
Sonic Forces launches on November 7. SEGA will be selling the game both physically and digitally.
That's the whole "article" I swear to God.It's amazing what people do for clicks
You did the right thing TSA! A lesson has to be learned here.
It's gonna be a race between Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Persona 5, NieR: Automata, Nioh and perhaps even Splatoon 2
Edit: I'm ignorant. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2 and a few others might be strong contesters too!
Here is the trailer - https://youtu.be/J6haHRbbD1...
The screenshots are taken from the trailer so that's a lie
And here is a duplicate story that OP ignored when posting this - http://n4g.com/news/2101866...
Did he actually say this? I'm seriously asking because it seems like something he would actually do.
