People surely forget Godfather, Need For Speed Most Wanted, NBA 2K6, Bully. They forget how those games DIDN'T destroy the XBOX/PS2 versions. Wow! :D
That's not true. The only question is how many hardcore gamers on other consoles are moving over, or wanting to own this console to game on with their 360/PS3. People I know who don't go on Youtube or other gaming sites, who game hard have Wii U's. These people I'm talking about go to my college. Some of the hardcore are indeed getting Wii U's. I didn't buy a Wii & I'm buy a Wii U & I also own a 360/PS3.

I'm definitely buying multiplats for the Wii U. That doesn't mean I'm abandoned my other beast. But a lot of multiplats Wii U versions will be in my house. **** the haters!

Really!? I need to go over there for when I buy my Wii U console. I only have AC3 for it, but I haven't bought the console yet due to $$ over-budgeting. Where I live at they are sold out & I'm not bulling. This man came in with his wife and said he looked all over the city and couldn't find one. He then went to Hastings, where they only had 2 left and he bought one. I'm sure someone got that last one. They are sold out at Gamestop, Walmart & Hastings where I stay...
Yeah like Godfather, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Bully on XBOX 360 was way better then it's XBOX counterparts. Yeah right! Destroyed... Those launch titles looked like high resolution XBOX 1 games. Those games were pretty much ports from old consoles. That's what happens, it's nothing new. I'm not saying Wii U is super powerful, but to judge it on ports off an older console is irrelevant. I guess you didn't buy XBOX 360 XBOX ports.

I believe developers have to learn how to tap into the GPGPU to make up for the CPU. The GPGPU does some of the CPU's work unlike a regular GPU that doesn't. Nintendo put that GPGPU processor in there for that obvious reason. Developers also complained about the PS3's GPU, yet fanboys are quick to forget that. But the developers found out that tapping into the SPU's allowed for better graphics & performance. So, I wouldn't be quick to discount anything at this point....
@AsimLeonheart I own a PS3 & XBOX 360. But I plan to get a Wii U & PS4. So, I'm actually looking forward to the PS4 too :D
@AsimLeonheart You are still ignoring the fact that the Gamepad is new tech. The console is still new more powerful tech no matter how much more powerful, therfore they aren't a generation behind. They just may not be where u wont them to be, but they aren't behind either. That being said developers will still need time to improve the Wii U's graphics & even Nintendo said that they have only tapped into 50% of the hardware so far. @Grap This is the first time in console history that a touchscreen controller has been used. Everyone else simply found a workaround copy. But Smartglass won't be supported by a lot of games & Vita forces a person to buy two versions of every game they want to use the touchscreen controller on the TV. That's a problem and most people won't invest into it.
@AsimLeonheart The Wii U is somewhat more powerful then the 360/PS3. But to get mad because it's not 20x more powerful is ridiculous. The Gamepad itself is newer tech for a console. Whether you are a fan of that tech or not, it's there. How is Nintendo a generation behind when it is using newer tech with it's console. @mcstorm So many consoles were less powerful PS1,PS2, Wii & they were all good consoles in one way or another. Being a true old school gamer it's frustrating seeing people just wanting graphic updates out of a console. Yes, I understand we get some kind of a boost every gen, but that's due to better tech. If it's something new using newer tech that isn't graphics though some people write it off as a gimmick and never give it a chance. If people are going to play that grap...
