"Halo 4" and a lot of Kinect games we know little about. What on earth makes them think Halo 4 will release 1 year after Reach and the same year as Gears of War? I would love the rumoured Combat Evolved remake.
Because what VGChartz count as "Americas" isn't just USA. It's Canada, South America, bascially ALL of America so their figures will always be higher than NPD.
MS count their fiscal years different to Sony. Their Q1 ran from July to September; that 44.6M figure was up to September.

@Active Reload- I will say I think the hate against VGChartz is overboard. Their first week figures for hardware and software is sometimes off but they do adjust their figures over time. They're trying to provide estimates for the entire globe, not just 1 region, and they aren't doing a bad job TBH.
1. Even NPD figures are estimations. They don't include Walmart or online retailers.
2. I'm not talking about Kinect. Even if Kinect sold 2.5M to consumers MS still report the shipped figure for their GAMES.
3. VGChartz already had to increase the first week of GT 5's sales because they initially lowballed it.

LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, Motorstorm, SOCOM, Infamous, TLG, Twisted Metal, Ratchet, Resistance, now Uncharted. TEN major 1st party PlayStation IP's releasing in the same year not even counting Disgaea and Yakuza. Absolutely unbelievable. Yes there will be a couple of delays but what an amazing year.
