The original Star Fox isn't on there? Huh...I thought it was. The original Mario Kart is, so it makes no sense for them not to have the original Star Fox.
As for what I want, I really want to see Donkey Kong 64. There shouldn't be anything keeping them from putting it on the VC, so I don't see why it's taking so long.
It was one of Nintendo's greatest moments. They were still a very small company at the time, and they were going up against a juggernaut; Universal Studios. By totally pwning Universal, Nintendo became an inspiration to all small businesses.
A modder that DOESN'T deserve to be pushed in front of a moving train? Now I've seen everything.
I don't think much will happen if it fails. Money wise, Kinect failing would be nothing more than a mosquito bite to Microsoft.
You can play Just Cause 2 for hours without actually playing Just Cause 2.
I think you're confusing Sonic Adventure with Sonic Advance 2.
I doubt the next Nintendo console will use a HDD. Nintendo focuses mostly on games, so I don't expect to see them distributing movies, TV eps, etc.; only relatively small games. They'll probably opt for a SSD that's a few GBs in size, and have an SD card slot if you need extra storage.
Being one of the people who thought the PSP Go should have doubled as a smart phone, this makes me very excited.
"In the future, I can see great uses for the system, especially in ‘Better with Kinect’ branded games, that will use a joypad and the camera to improve the gameplay of titles- imagine playing Call of Duty- the way it should be played- with a joypad, but throwing grenades using your arm, or looking around the cockpit of your vehicle in Forza by just turning your head whilst driving."
Except then you wouldn't be looking at the TV, genius. >_>
I definitely want Rogue Squadron on the Virtual Console, as well as Shadows of the Empire.
Human beings ruin online gaming.
Not unless my friend comes over; I can't have any competitive matches online due to lag. Also, it's one of the few games where I have no temptation to try and 100% it.
Except they do. I'd bet you anything that Activision forced Infinity Ward to release Modern Warfare 2 in its half-assed state, knowing full well that it would sell regardless of quality.
This is one of the many reasons why I don't bother playing games online.
This would be a huge waste of money for both the company and the consumer.
The FPS genre isn't dead, though I really wish it was...
Send me a free Kinect if you want me to give a shit.
I believe the next console will have a controller similar to that of the Wii, but have a gyroscope built in from the start, and maybe have more buttons to work with. I'd really like to see them bring back the standard ABXY format for face buttons, and make the trigger underneath the remote the Z button (the Z trigger on the N64 was often used for firearms, so making the trigger of the remote the Z button makes sense).
I think Nintendo will release their new home console once the last of their core games (Skyward Sword, Other M, etc.) have had plenty time to get into people's homes. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Wii 2 holiday 2011 or early 2012.
I could have got the 1 year of free service, but I don't have a credit card. I fucking hate it when free trials still require you to do shit like that.
