If you read the article carefully, all it states is that the individual with the PS3 problem wrote about his situation about his PS3 on the Consumerist.

No where does the person state that Sony read or had anything to do with the Consumerist. Sony acted of its own accord by trying to address a PS3 owner's concerns.

The Consumerist should get written up for false advertising in trying to claim credit for something they had absolutely nothing to do with.

Consider this:

The site that conducted this "poll" is a PS3 fansite. They ask their PS3 audience which GTA IV version they will buy. This is like going into a candy store and asking, "Who is going to buy candy here?" What a bunch of bull. Let's wait till the real numbers come out to see which version will sell better.

This story means nothing at all except for the fact that Sony probably paid these guys to conduct this survey. lol.
