It's a great looking game, but I'm sure games that will come out this generation will eventually exceed Killzone 2's visuals. *cough God of War 2! cough*
Well the European version did release a few days ago so it's not surprising. And Target broke the street date yesterday so I'll have to go check out my local Target store to see if there are still any copies of KZ2 left, and pick up Street Fighter 4 on the way.

I would rather let them wait and work on Killzone 3 for the PS4's launch. 2012 is plenty of time for them to get around the PS4's architecture of Sony decides to finalize the hardware. They could just work on DLC to support KZ2 and even a spin-off before they work on KZ3. They could make a spin-off where they allow us to play as a Helghast and see the war from their point of view.
Good for Sony! Now if they would drop the price of the PS3, it could easily go over 33 million by the end of the year.
I think the servers will hold up fine. Guerrilla released a multiplayer beta for a reason: to test their servers. I think the servers will be a lot better than CoD4, R2, and LBP by launch.
