They put the word exclusive on everything.
Even when they announced Sea of thieves the announcer said "Xbox One exclusive"
And we all know it's coming for PC too.
Exclusives are what drives many gamers to purchase one console over the other, so yes they matter a lot.

There's a difference between Action RPG's and hack $ slash.
You can also fight against others in DS, Does that make it a fighting game too? lol

A 4000$ build should be able to play all games at resolutions higher than 1080p at 60+ fps.(With everything ticked on)
That's my issue with Nvidia's features and their poor optimization.
There's no reason for me to play @ 1080p(The witcher) because of them.
I have an OC'ed 980 ti + a 5930k clocked @ 4.5GHz for crying out loud
They're not well optimized or the cards available right now are simply not powerful enough.

They're called FIRST PARTY exclusives because they're being developed by a FIRST PARTY studio.
What's a first party studio ? A studio that MS/Sony/Nintendo own.
Like 1-Up for nintendo
Naughty Dog for Sony
Black Tusk for MS
Platinum here is a perfect example for studios that make THIRD PARTY exclusive games
They made bayonetta 2 for the Wii U

Nah first party means that the game is being developed by a first party studio.
For example
Sony owns the IP for the Order, It's still not considered a first party game, Because they don't own RAD.
When did MS buy Platinum ? And Making a PS4 exclusive too...why is that?
