*pats back*
I imported my Vita, and I could really care less about a bunch of AR cards. Since Sony has allowed games like wipeout 2048 to be sold, I'm content being able to play my game.
Whatever happened to the Augmented Reality for Wipeout 2048?
It's funny that people say this, because they never meant to be a console giant. In fact they were hesitant to try. Ever since the PS1, it has taken them over in the best way possible. Every other division is just that, a division.
Yay! Now I can get Super Stardust Delta! It also allows me to enable my online pass for Wipeout 2048.
I think fried is talking about using them under the "Wipeout" control setting. This setting uses the shoulder buttons for airbrakes. It's the same setup as Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse.
I have Disgaea 2 for my PSP, and I love the sheer amount of hours that can be squeezed out of training your characters. There is no shortage of things to do, that is for damn sure.
I understand that people want the ability to use the physical controls to navigate LiveArea. I can see how just having the ability to use the D-pad to quickly flip through apps could help. I also do understand why Sony focused on the Touch Screen. They built LiveArea around that idea and hence why it is designed the way it is.
No one said you had to buy it at release. Wait until there is a price drop. I have my own student loan bills, by the way, and they are more than the price of a 3G model.
@Prophet-gamer
I could careless if I am paying for a service or not, my billing information should be guarded just as securely. If I need to pay for a service so that my information is protected, then we live in one fucked up world.
Has anyone else noticed that you don't see jaggies all that much in Wipeout 2048? Are they applying anti-aliasing? BTW, this game looks amazing!
There's a little thing called, "saving money," ever heard of it?
Isn't Gravity Rush a "launch window" game? If is coming out at launch, my choices will definitely be Wipeout 2048 and that.
The PS1 and PS2 were two very amazing consoles, with a library to match.
Better yet, a sonic screwdriver!
Ports? Nintendo has mastered the art of porting games from older systems to bolster their library. I'm not saying it isn't working, but they are lacking on the "new content" front. Their first- party games for the 3DS are mostly blatant ports/remasters of the same tired franchises. Franchises that have so high of a number sequels that it makes Final Fantasy look like a child in comparison.
Skies of Arcadia, Power Stone 1 and 2, and the original soul calibur; I loved the Dreamcast so much, in fact, I loved Sega.
Next we will hear that LittleBigPlanet has no online play of any kind.
P3P got me into the series. That being said, I've never played P4. I'm sold on this when in comes out in NA.
5/29/12 seems like a long time. This game makes that wait so hard.
