Doom (with Duke Nukem type of protagonist, but less cheesy),..but way faster,.. Devil daggers(in terms of pace),..Imagine FPS where instead of 15 enemies you are fighting 200+ enemies on screen at a time,..

Because Tetris is a perfect game (design wise)? Wish I can experience it in VR soon,... as for just playing it in 2d,.. yep it is amazing Tetris game.

I have a certain perspective on the genre (has less to do with playing a role, than level up mechanics and improving your character/build,..) but I a sense terminology may not be that wrong,.. I think I actually played RDR2 as a role playing game, which has very few of those classic RPG elements.. and It was awesome...

Unchallenging? Gimme a break,.. Used to run Dark Souls and NiOh speedruns,.. and got my shit pushed in quite a few times in Spider man on normal,.. So this guy is probably making things up.
Unfulfilling? Subjective,.. I had more fun with Spiderman than both GOW and RDR2 in terms of moment to moment gameplay and flow,..but what ever floats your boat,..

I think I got used to the systems somewhat,.. Still enjoyed it a lot, but it is definitely overrated,.. Just for the convoluted menu system for selecting and using basic things and actions (takes 5 times more muscle memory /brain effort than it does in real life(which is absurd). Id give it a 7-8 on that basis alone,..

I always turn off supersamling.. because it is loud as fuck in 4K mode. yes some things look prettier in higher rez,.. but damn it is loud.,.. so 1080 P is good enough for me.
