I honestly find it funny that that policy exists. It's like MS are butthurt that you went with another brand first so it becomes a sort of "Well we didn't want you anyway, you're tainted now!" sort of deal :P.

Probably more to do with the market than any thing else. If it would have been released waaay before smart phones had been released then maybe it would have held better ground. Not to mention Nintendo are practically the handheld gods too.

I'm not sold on it myself because my internet is beyond terrible let alone reliable. So until that changes to fibre there's no reason for me to buy into this.
Another reason is also I still have a working PS1, 2 & 3, So I won't be needing to stream old games until these konk out and die on me.
Definitely an interesting prospect but latency is always going to be that niggling problem, I wish they had maybe gone down the emulator road.
It can't be going out of production, they have like a games line up that no doubt goes into 2015. WiiU wil be around for a while yet, then they'll let it sink and plan for new hardware if they haven't started to panic and do that already.
Waiting for another price cut hopefully now that they've finally acknowledged it's tanking harshly compared to its competitors. Also waiting for Bayonetta 2 and X to release. Those will be the system sellers for me.
