I think its a good thing that the Microsoft E3 event showed Res5 and Fallout, first of all those games are amazing, much more entertaining to watch a live demo than to watch CG trailers of MAG and GOW 3. Also theyre trying to emphasize that the Xbox is becoming more and more popular for developers and that primarily PC developers like Bethesda or Sony developers like resident evil guys are using the 360 as a lead platform for develpment.
Don't blame EA for all the sims crap, blame maxis. EA does have quality original games i mean look at Dead Space, also Valve has a strong partnership with EA which they say that they enjoy and valve is the most honest developer i know.

Please no, at first i thought the six axis was cool, but it doesn't work the way they think it does. Every game has to have some arbitrary six axis bullshit.
All i know is that Valve does not develop for the PS3, If it will come out for the PS3 i hope its not a crappy EA port.
Seems like generic teams, one uses advanced genetics and the other uses advanced mechanic and robotic technologies, which surprisingly is the same as fracture's stories and among others i'm sure.

I'm pretty sure it will be console exclusive. I cant imagine them releasing this for a full retail price on the consoles.

Thats an interesting comment in the fact that you are not actually SEEING the game yet.
As much as i enjoyed MGS4 i'd much rather have the half-life method of story telling, i'd rather be immersed and interacting while the story is happening then sitting back and watching the story unfold.

As someone who will probably purchase or rent both of these, i personally believe that these are incomparable, as one focus's on vehicle creation and using your creation to overcome obstacles while the other focus's on level creation and using your array of platforming abilities and puzzle solving to overcome obstacles, either ...
In terms of visual style it looks similar to little big planet, but i don't think you can say that they copied LBP. There designs for this game could have originated before LBP was announced, anyhoo, it looks really really really good.
Remember, its not the final build, i would never expect the console versions to rival the pc version, but i would atleast expect the two console versions to be look the same,
Hope its not, Sony recently cut funding and ended those projects.
Sony's was worse simply because i hold Sony to standards far higher than nintendo's.
