This game Screams PSN/XBLA. there is no reason why this is on a Disc. Not to mention there is no reason why it is not online enabled.
oh gamespot, this is why you lost all your credibility in the first place. Im not even in the beta and I've been seeing videos that controdicts on what you guys at GS are saying. Guerrilla Games has done it. they are about to become the Rare of the Super Nintendo era, they showed the Power of the SNES at that time with DK, and Now GG will do the same with the PS3, all Sony needs to do is Market the Hell out of it.
no its not the same game, thats a Yakuza Prequel. that game is already out in Japan. The Real Yakuza 3 is the one you just watched here on n4g right now.
hopefully sega brings this game out to the rest rather quick after its release in the east. for a game with that level of detail, it needs to be sent here to the west so that they make profit. they got to bring that Yakuza Prequel here first though.

yakuza 1 and 2 are already released in the US, dont know about the EU though. They havent brought out the Yakuza prequel here yet.

I want to try to agree with you, but MGS4 is one of the greatest games of all time in my Top 5. MGS4 is not even in the FPS genre.
