how about sony and the BDA drop the prices of their BD players before they go crazy with ads, no one wants to listen to an ad that says "starting at $500 dollars!!!" after the rival company presented an ad that stated that their products are starting at $100 dollars!

this was the game that made me say that Killzone 2 can look like CGI. Its amazing that Infinity ward was able to run this game at 60 frames per second on 1080p, hopefully there are no frame drops on the PS3 version. I have a question though, is this game actually running in true 1080p on the PS3, cause if it is, then wow, Infinity ward just basically told lazy devs like EA to STFU about the PS3 running on crappy hardware.

they are required to do so on every BD player(except for those that dont have the required specifications to upgrade to Firmware 2.0), that includes the PS3, its mandaded for Profile 1.1 which takes place today or tomorrow, I think, so there is a possibility we'll see Fimware 2.0 today or tomorrow.
