the thing is though the PS3s Price is dropping faster since they are using cheaper chips, thats a factor, another factor is loss of demand, when sony sees that people are losing interest on the system due to price (it used to be price and games, not anymore though, it already has games), they drop the price as well. i doubt thats going to cost 500 dollars, with all those production costs going down, also if a new sku releases expect them to get rid of HArdware BC. THey will possibly allow PS2 software emulation. which I hope no one really minds.

i think its a good thing that they dont talk about the game for a while, cause if you keep showing the screenshots the hype is gone, what we saw last year was a pre-alpha build. we dont know what the game is going to look like yet, but we know graphically its going to be good.

anyway, Im not surprised, this is called the Domino effect. what started out as a studio dropping support, for HD-DVD, becomes a fight for Survival for HD-DVD, which it cant. and thats a good thing. kill the darn format now. Retailers are tired of this, they dont want a Audio DVD, Super Audio CD Debacle. THey want another BETAMAX as quickly as possible so that HDM can FInally break through.
