The PS Eye also has the ability to do recognize hand gestures to flip through the XMB, not to mention voice recognition since it also has Mics. all it takes is a firmware update to allow it. but Sony is slow. Most likely Project Natal gave them the Kick in the Nuts they needed attempt to implement it.
