Character with inner demons was SH2 only. But after SH4 non japanese devs took over and made it like the series was all about fighting your own guilt even when it was not the case in SH1, 3 or 4.

First one probably because it was a launch title, it was included in the bundles.
So the sales number of the third one are even more depressing if it was once a 5 mil franchise.
As for your point - even simple re-release I would be happy with since the trilogy is tied to PS3. I would play them again for new trophies, especially since the first one didn't have them.
Look guys, I was there when this franchise was fresh. I played them all, liked them. Unfortunately it sold really poorly, especially the 3rd one. End of story. This one is quite undersrable looking from Sony's perspective.
