Sony didn't show anything up and over what MS showed it's all just more of the same fanboy hype bs. Anyone can disagree with me I don't care I'm just sick of hype. Troll article straight up. MS showed just as many big games as Sony and just like last year all have release dates and most will be playable this year. Most of Sony's announced games this year will be at next years E3 - talk about boring. 2 huge hardware announcements and a few really big XB1 improvements there's just no way Microsoft's E3 was boring unless you're a hater with an agenda.
Didn't the president of Sony say when asked if there would be a PS5 that he he wasn't sure? I swear I read that somewhere. Oh, and isn't the Scorpio going to be upgradeable, backward/forward compatible? Thought I read that somewhere too.

MS originally stated that the X1 can run 4k video which it can, they said nothing about games that's how I remember it - but if you want to try and prove me wrong by finding proof to back up that claim feel free.

Scorpio is next gen it's just starting a year earlier so current gen Xbox cycle will only be 4 years instead of 5.
Kind of reminds me of the PS4 vs Xbox One argument. Funny how power doesn't matter anymore when it looks like Sony will loose that advantage by next year.
I'm packing up my mid range gaming PC and buying a Scorpio I'm sick of upgrading the GPU and CPU, etc. I can't afford high end so I'm always outdated and that's also why I buy AMD vs Intel.
The new Scorpio is supposed to be modular and upgradable according to what I've read I would imagine upgrades would be much cheaper and effortless to install.
The thing is reviews always tend to say these things it's damaging none the less. Watch the E3 reviews to see what I'm saying.
Every year it seems that there are people out there intent on ruining E3 for MS and Xbox fans. Most of Microsoft's E3 surprises get leaked then when review time comes people can say "well MS didn't show anything we didn't already know." Damn dirty.

Half of your post is exaggeration. The Xbox One doesn't only have shooters and it's line up of games is just as diverse as the PS4's. The Xbox One has games in every genre the PS4 has. Personally, I think the word "diversity" is abused amongst certain people especially on this site.
MS can go ahead and reveal the Scorpio at E3 it doesn't matter if Sony holds back to try and best them in hardware the Scorpio will be upgradable.
