Yeah, I suppose if the game was exceptional and only available download, I would download it. But no need to encourage this behaviour but a code in a box. That’s just silly

If there is a small game that is only digital because they can’t afford a release production run, I’m all for supporting but code in a box, no

ps3 didnt sell due to high price, PSVR2 again, price too high, will they learn lesson, or will this be their downfall,

$499 for the win.

this is also disingenuous because there are counting PS SUBS and games total revenue, so 80 from digital, god this pisses me off,

"The digital sales were mostly led by network services, especially PlayStation Plus.''

if it was just games, we have seen 1st party sells more physical, some in the 70-80% range If I remember right,
ahh yes here we go 562d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

im expecting a lot. ps4 to ps4pro wasn't a big jump,. this one will be.

• 30% faster ram
• 45% faster gpu
• 56 now vs 36 gfx processing units (64% more)
• raytracing chip is now separate, to free up cpu

+ PSSR

be prepared to be blown away, my friend.!

I reckon the gen is only just starting,

If this gen is winding down Microsoft also have some hard truths

Like only releasing 2 games!

Once again you got Halo and you got Forza, I really thought that meme had died and they wouldn’t just release those two again, but I was wrong. The other handful of games from Bethesda were due to go to Xbox anyway before the buyout so Xbox gained nothing there

Flightsim is possibly t...

yer cos, if you open a new studio, you can put down a £200,000 (or whatever) cost for new offices, computers, hiring people, promotion, etc, against any profit,

if you stay with the same studio, you still have costs, but less so, as stuff is already up-and-running, them accounts teams don't just 'restructure' stuff, for fun, you know.

You raise a fair point I am mistaken

it’s £14.99 not 20, it is a good deal if you play loads of games!

but if you just want a few big games a year, better to buy them and sell them.

I appreciate you get to try loads of games you may not have without it, ie indie games, for the minority, the very hardcore who can make it good value,
the majority are better off without gamepass I reckon. The sales numbers seem to agree, where m...
