Neither are trustworthy in my view!
When you put it like that, it makes the parallel even clearer. People are reluctantly conceding that PSVR2 excellent.
One example being IGN, when their main xbox guy, Ryan, said GT7 "blew my mind". He was stuttering and stammering, you could tell his mouth was betraying him by being honest, it was hilarious 😂
I tried it for a couple of hours on OG PSVR with a PS4 Pro. It was amazing and I wanted more, but decided to wait on PS5 and PSVR2 for better clarity and controls.
So much more content has landed since then, I can't wait to dive back in and have a flawless experience!
I agree with you there, they've got to get on top of the basics first.
Sony made $2.5 billion and that doesn't even include the past few years. Look it up.
Then look up the attach rate. PSVR gamers buy WAY more games per unit than consoles, each one of those generating income for Sony.
What about offering your consumers choices? Isn't that what we're all saying now, "consumer friendly"?
As someone else pointed out, Sony made over 2.5 billion dollars with PSVR. I looked it up, it's true and that was years ago, so it's not like anyone is expecting Microsoft to do it out of the goodness of their heart.
Just more broken promises. So glad I left all that behind. No more FOMO!
Halo in VR would be a great fit (not Infinite, obviously) and seeing how amazed everyone has been by GT7 makes me think Forza too, but no, just more risk-averse, iterative drudgery instead.
I have two friends left behind on Xbox, the others all made the leap. I'm sticking those two in GT7 in VR and we'll see how loyal they're feeling then lol
This comes off a little like the 'Phil says' articles, but at least what Herman's saying tallies up with what everyone else is saying!
Sounds to me like it's already delivering - in spades!
Walkabout mini golf is video game crack. It's so much fun.
That and Wanderer are huge news for PSVR2. Wanderer is a stunning game and one of the best VR games out there.
I like that it's a piece of cake to just grab and take round a mate's place to use on their PS5.
Should also mean more people get to play it.
Same! I was advised to play until I completed a couple of licences and unlocked multilayer...but I can't put it down!
Even the bloody photo mode has me hooked - it's incredibly deep! I can honestly see me spending the whole of PSVR2 launch day playing GT7!
Lots of positive reports in relation to motion sickness being less of an issue on PSVR2. Sony claim the hardware was designed with lessening the issue in mind, so fingers crossed for you.
I like to think someone with an evil sense of humour at Sony is sitting there laughing his ass off as he sends people that confirmation just to wind them up!
I can't believe how far VR has come. This looks incredible!
That's the consensus - I'll let you know when mine arrives, but it sure looks that way!
The first game is still one of the best VR games, but the graphics in this blow that one out of the water! Day 1.
As luck would have it, I have too many white undies and not enough brown. Switchback is just what I needed...
More high praise! OK it's official, I'm confident I made a good purchase and I'm no longer concerned in any way - it's all just excitement left now!
Lol even Screenrant are loving it. Their review title: "Exquisite Excellence"

And Firewall Ultra coming soon. The first game was amazing. Literally hundreds of hours in that game!
And Factions 2. And Burning Sands, which is PS5 exclusive, so not bound by PS4. And Spider-man 2
This stupid MS deal is bringing the information flow to a halt. Nobody wants to show their hand, so we don't get to know what else is coming this year!
