I often find myself extremely inquisitive in what it looks like. I always yearn for one of these insane concepts, they look so cool. I agree it’s what it does on the screen but nothing wrong with leaning away from your standard DVD player or pc tower design. Im glad Sony chose to go with a super next gen design it shows they like to go above and beyond, just like their exclusives!!
It’ll be that quiet because no one will turn it on, everyone will be smashing blockbuster after blockbuster on the one and only PS5. Amen!!

Microsoft don’t feel pressure, I honestly think because their pockets are so deep they always follow the same business plan. If it’s released as an exclusive Sony give the developers freedom to produce something that’s really amazing. Microsoft always stick their big oar in. It frustrates developers that why Bungie did one!

Exactly remember the Jaguar 64. Was way ahead of its time but no good games.
Remember when Sony released the ps3 out the gate at $599, that was a train wreck!! Totally hindered the sales, Sony learnt from this and realised that the console customer loves the $399 - $450 area, at a push $499. If Sony are clever and wise they will have the same strategy they had with the PS2, not dominance by power but total dominance by their unbelievable and unrivalled games. It’s why Sony win every generation and will continue to win.
