Funny thing about retaliation is that CEOs ultimately have far more to lose since videogames are quite often their main business... videogame players tend to have huge backlogs, it's rather easy to not buy games with a price hike.

Sony will probably ship 120 million PS4s by Christmas 2020 or by Spring 2021 at the very least.
If PS4 gets a pricecut within the year, 140-150 million PS4s by 2022 seems within range of actually happening.

There's nothing wrong with a cool looking piece of tech, I think it's more dishonest to try and shame people for liking something you don't like... it's not about the money or what others may or may not think.
