the melee combat being optional is great news, not just in terms of my own gameplay of the game but also because review sites like ign (or as i call them, IGNorant) etc cannot now complain about the touchscreen in their reviews like they do in every biased psvita review, and give higher review scores based only on the awesomeness of the game and the hardware that i've seen in gameplay trailers etc, which then makes casuals buy the game as well as us hardcore gamers and increase game sales...
i hate it when the touchscreen gets dirty. every time i let someone else play my psvita i tell them to wash their hands before touching my psvita.
the trailers for the game kind of show the ending, which unfortunately is the bleeding obvious (i won't tell you what that 'bleeding obvious' is incase some of you may get pissed off but it is related to the endings of a couple of films that i've watched whose names i will not mention)
how can anyone struggle playing super metroid and super mario world?
i play the game first and then aim for the trophies, trophies provide replayability, i would have probably never replayed games which i've completed such as rayman origins if there were no trophies in the game.

that psvita version was a slap in the face to every psvita owner. they released fifa football at launch which was a fifa 11.5 saying that they didnt have enough time to port over fifa 12 completely. about 6 months later (enough time to at least completely port over fifa 12 and add a few fifa 13 features making it a fifa 12.5) they release fifa 13, no trailers or reviews for the game, i didnt buy it suspecting foulplay. then i saw greg's ign review saying that it was the same fifa 11.5 gam...

I actually think that releasing Killzone Mercenary 2 weeks before its original release date is great because I start my second year in university in October here in the UK and I now have an extra two weeks to play Killzone!!! :D
