The thing is they had THREE YEARS to test it out and realize it wouldn't work next gen. Sony had MOVE and it failed so they pretty much let it go. But instead of just supporting the kinect like MS should have, they forced it on us and said #dealwithit. If there wasn't an added $100 NO ONE WOULD CARE but they're making us pay for something we don't want or need.
I don't know... Outside of gaming VR seems pretty niche
I agree. A few months ago having indie/f2p games were somehow a bad thing so let's see how people feel about this

Games are getting more and more expensive to make and too many studio are playing it safe. That's why indie games and even cellphone games are extreamly important. Not ever good game need to be 100+ hrs long, have multiplayer and have the greatest graphics known to man. I probably played Critter Crunch and Dead Nation more than any other games last gen (excluding demon souls).

Reconstruction of the company. They got rid of their PC business, they sold building and bought building it's a process. Some of these people may have wanted a better payment then Sony was willing to pay or maybe it was artistic differences OR maybe these people want to move on to bigger and better things then Gaming. No ones considered that maybe these people are going to another part of Sony to work on its movies or shows?

GTA type game with the story of Breaking Bad I'd sell like hot cakes BUT I'd take years to make and by then there might be as big of an niche for it.

Plus I think with Sonys announcement they may have gotten scared off. There's a few other companies coming out with VR too. A lot of companies come up with great ideas and then get pushed out by some bigger company so I can't blame the guy.
The thing is there are better games that have a single developer and they can release 3-4 different versions at once and I'm suppose to believe 1 dev can't make 1 version of a multiplayer only game for a last gen system?
Yea there's not really a source but it's not hard to believe give it had 1 million pre orders
