Mm nice i have to admit .
No news is good news the old saying is . In Microsoft's case they need too start showing there hand or they will get left way behind because everyone I know is per-ordering the Ps4 already .
Each to there own , mind you I switched from Xbox 360 to Ps3 due to the cost of Live I thought why should I pay when I can get it free and I never used the mike so I was really happy switching and I had the RROD twice .
I have never looked back really happy because I have made good friends on psn as well and it's the best thing I did .

No console is going to compete with a £1500 games rig but the Ps4 get's close and it's a lot cheaper and that will do for me .

Once the consoles start releasing games that appeal to a bigger wider audience then hey Bingo the console will sell like hot cakes there you go the Wii u is a good console and it's ver early yet .

The whole idea of games is for you too feel that your the character and to feel that the game is real and you like too feel the realism in the game itself wether your playing a rpg or fps you like to think you are in a real city so graphics are important but it depends what game your playing if it is a puzzle or any other game then gameplay obviously , so it depends really .
I like the Ps4 just with my Ps4 controller just can't wait the excitement is so, so overwhelming .

Totally agree with you , you can't implement the gamer to leave his or her games console on all the things the op mentioned not only that with fuel prices going through the roof this is a really bad idea .
