And I am not downplaying Gears. I just don't understand how MS can make such a statement when it's the ONLY game announced so far (that we know of) that's coming out in 2011. But if you do want to know my opinion then no I didn't like Gears 2 (the only gears of war I bought) because it wasn't fun for me to play.

And we dont know what the hell is coming out later this year. MS needs to cool the hype train down. God damn give 2010 a chance before we start hyping the games of 2011.

And I could not stand the single player. The multiplayer was fun but the single player was not enjoyable at all. I had to force myself to the end and that wasn't even fun.

Microsoft only has one console and one peripheral. If anyone needs 2 press conferences its Sony and Nintendo. Sony with 3 platforms and 2 peripherals and Nintendo with 2 consoles and god knows how many peripherals. Microsoft's ego with "oh we got so much more then our competitors" is almost laughable.
If MS says that they had shortages BEFORE the NPD numbers come out and I walk into my walmart and gamestop and they dont have any 360's then yes you can use that excuse. But as it stands I haven't found one PS3 or Wii where I live AND Sony announced before the NPD numbers came out that they have been having shortages for the past couple of months.

Other then that did anyone else hear about how "they have a few suprises up their sleve". I wonder what they are. Something tells me that E3 2010 will be one of Sony's biggest E3's.
They said everything was PRE alpha. Its not even at alpha yet so I was wildly impressed with these games because their not even close to being finished and they already look really good.
because everyone was talking about all the cool things you get with it and I was able to justify the purchase. Now I can help but feel just a bit ripped off. The Heavy Rain dynamic theme should cushion the blow.
I thought it was going to be dumb but I actually found it really interesting and engaging. David Jaffe being a judge on the show and talking about the time he was a tester made it that much sweeter.

So that the games put on the disk wouldn't of had storage issues. UMD failed as a format but is still used for games for the PSP, why couldn't of MS done the same thing with HD DVD?
And I completely disagree with the industry going all digital distribution. Sure maybe in 10 years or so when HDD can take more space and internet connection is faster but until then it wont work. Every generation developers make bigger and bigger games. I don't want to wait a day and waste my memor...

In my opinion (are we allowed to have those anymore?) I didn't like Gears 2. I bought a 360 just for the game and it was a severely disappointing game. I can see where people would like it but thats only people that like the blood and gore factor of the game. To me, the game felt very broken. But dude if you want it buy it off me. I'll sell it to you for $15.
