Great, I can support these great developers by buying Game Pass for $1.
Well from both those PlayStation developers I think you’re crazy to argue their follow up games won’t be amazing given their track records.
I guess, maybe. Not surprising when you starve your fan base for the bulk of the generation.
Wouldn’t the system name be X that belongs to the Xbox series?
Bad example as all most everyone knows when they release new iPhones and they still have a somewhat conventional naming scheme but Apple release three new iPhones... all three are new yet all three have different prices. Price in today’s consumers eyes might tell you which is the “best” but it doesn’t tell you which is the newest.
From our perspective we know as we’ve witnessed the press releases of each said console. To the general consumer though?
Look how many of you are trying to take guesses as to what it means and writing half page explanations on how to understand it. The same people who read daily gaming news and who have gaming as their passionate hobby. Now picture mum and dad in store looking for little Jimmies new Christmas present. You have the Xbox One, Xbox S, Xbox SAD, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X... then you look over at PlayStation with PS4, PS4 slim, PS4 pro, PS5.
Okay I can tell which is the newest one...
Didn’t Gamespot.... who have actually seen it say it’s roughly three controllers high?
Really nice feature, I will assume this will be an iteration that’s on all next gen consoles. Perfect as I like to normally have a multiplayer game and single player game going around the same time. I just hope they don’t go silly with allowing 10 suspends that just eats up and uses more resources for features and takes away from the games resources.
How many games to you really think you would play at once?
I don’t know if or how to post an image but this thing looks exactly like Linksys Velop Router. Even the top grill I think has the exact same circular cut out.
1. Ariana Grande - FF Brave Exvius
2. Snoop Dog - NHL20
3. Gary Coleman - Postal 2
4. Keith David - Saints Row IV
5. Shaq - NBA 2K19
6. Michael Jackson - Space Channel 5
7. Everyone - COD Black ops Call of the dead
Now excuse me while I go rock back and forth in the corner.
Guess he didn’t like being under MS thumb!
@TheHateTheyGive
Will be interesting times next gen for sure. I have always felt that towards the end Sony or Microsoft would be wise to offer heavy discounts online to try and tie people into the ecosystem and then heavily market the PS4 etc as BC.
9/10 is near flawless. It’s a rating that gives people confidence in the product. No one can honestly give Stadia a rating this high and be taken seriously. Yes many people are happy but there’s also a heavy outcry of people who are not.
I think Microsoft lost huge market share this generation and they won’t recover. No matter how many developers they purchase. Other then Obsidian I don’t put much stock into these newly purchased studios.
Congratulations to Nintendo, I’m glad they worked and stuck with the Hybrid system. It distinguishes itself from the others. PS4 and Switch offer so much fantastic content it’s a perfect duo to own.
I do not understand these statements. The cost of a PC capable and the cost of the HMD itself are very high this alone places it out of the hands of most. Consoles offer affordable entry and fantastic value for the majority of people interested in gaming. PSVR is the extension of this business model and it works.
I don’t think PlayStation really had a choice. It’s difficult to see any licensed property staying to one platform when the owners of the rights know very well the money to be made pushing as many platforms as possible. I guess Sony chose to keep their hands in cookie jar.
Here’s PlayStation announcing games, giving details on the PS5, showing how they will end the PS4 generation and what’s old Phil babbling on about? The name, the god damn name.
You wanna hope this “future” is bright enough before Google decides to shut it down.
I think streaming is viable and in time it will be better. I like Sony’s take. They offer a service, it’s baseline in specs but you get a very constant experience. Unlike Google who promised the universe and now all most all promises are either delayed or don’t live up to the expectations they set.
Bla bla bla... the uneducated person just purchased the PS5. PlayStation don’t care if the consumer is stupid and buys it over the competition because they can’t get the naming right.
I’m going to say Xbox will do worse next Gen then they did this Generation.
