something like achievements added by MS are worth something. The problem is people see worth and they automatically think $$$$. Achievements to some people add more to the game, by increasing its value just by giving the owner more things to do. I think this would be a good move, because there isn't near enough PS3s sold yet. These franchises used to have the enormous advantage of the huge PS2 install base to sell there millions. With the PS3 failing to even come close to maintaining marketshare software developers will be forced to adapt or change their ways.

Of course a PC version also helps that one computer software company.

Makes paying what is now $30-$40/year a steal. I would gladly pay a couple bucks a month to avoid the "at least its free" mediocrity syndrome that has become the PSN. Look what it did for Home. What was once a revolutionary, hyped application is now "not bad for being free".

An economics professor once told me beware of anything defended by the notion that "at least its free", because nothing is free. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Underneath that pretty paint lies a generic fps that we have all been playing for several years now. The online is mediocre at best. Also no one uses headsets, lots of people abusing glitches, and what might be the worst controls on FPS thus far.

It really is a shame GG didn't put as much focus on the gameplay as they did those pretty graphics. I would gladly sacrifice some visual excellence in exchange for excellent gameplay.
