They want there competitors to bring something new to the market because Xbone is struggling to bring something new to the table and the ms can try steal the idea.
Xbone fans are just jealous because there nothing been shown on there console which tops this, instead they got a cartoon game called Sunset Overdrive which looks like a glorified sega dreamcast game. Dreamcast was amazing in it's day.
It would have run at 1080p on Ps4 at most likely 60fps but it doesn't matter it looks like a cartoon game, weak that xbone can't handle this.
GTA V was a brilliant game, but why the hell are they wasting time making a PS4 version, get making GTA VI instead for Ps4 and XB One. I'm way more interested in MGS than a game which I have already played, the open world was beautiful but the side stuff was pretty boring in GTA V, MGS is a totally different game anyway it doesn't need to rival the open world it just needs to kick ass.
That would explain why the graphics don't look that impressive, if there aiming for 30fps then there maybe not to worried about looks, still looks like good gamesplay though.
They could start by building a completely new engine free from all the bugs and glitches which plagues Every other current smackdown game. The reversal system sucks, the game is slow and boring, get rid off the voice acting is what ruins the career mode, it's all one way and limited because of that, if there was just txt then you could have a season full of choice and randomness like the early smackdowns.
GTA V great classic game, doesn't need improvement other than it being too easy, it also doesn't need a next gen release. New gen should be about new next gen games not last gen.
Lame show, there I said it, Ms Is the one who has to prove it's metal more than Sony here and they have not really impressed, Assassins creed look amazing, but that's multi platform so is Evolve and Call of duty. Sony wont have to do much to top this, seriously Halo compilation, that's as bad as releasing Tomb Raider in 1080p upgraded graphics, where was MS killer exclusives? Didin't see them.
There will soon be more remasters than new proper next gen games on the new systems, seriously these companies need to stop with the hd remakes , there's no point it's ruining the image of the consoles.

I'm willing to bet there's little to nothing next gen about this game, seems to me like a ps3/xbox 360 port of an average game at best, they always manage to release these movie tie in games without delay, no wonder there usually crap.
I hope they keep good on there word, because if there one thing that threatens to really bring this next generation down it's subscription fees on games.
It's not like the Xbone has many games out either and the ones they do have out are ok but not system sellers. If anything it's the xbone that must showcase an impressive line up or face further drops on console sales.

Can hardly wait another call of duty update, same guns, same animation, another over the top lame story, same gameplay, oh wait I don't have to wait I have the same game in the house call of duty whatever. Hope i'm wrong and this is actually a proper next gen build and better gameplay, the original was great at first, but is old and boring now.
Only same if your a xbone owner ps4 owner will know that the ps4 version is far superior.
