With Sony getting such a stranglehold this early and the extremely low xbone Japan sales, Japan devs may soon consider going ps4 exclusive for most of their games like ps1 and ps2. They'll save money by making one version and hitting the highest install base. Just look at mgs5, it sold triple the amount of the xbone version. So for Japan, it becomes a question of why bother wasting money on versions that will ultimately sell only a fraction of the ps4 versions.

At least Microsoft has America to rely on for strong sales this gen. Together with America and UK the xone should at least be able to do a respectable 35 to 40 mil lifetime. Which isn't bad at all considering how bad it started off.
Awesome. Now maybe all the Xbox players will stop complaining about how it's not released in as many countries as ps4. Now we can all get along and get back to gaming.
Wow this is tempting. I haven't had a 360 since 2007 when mine got the rrod. Might just have to get this. I miss playing my copy of blue Dragon, forza 2, and other games from the early years of 360.
I think a better question would be, can it succeed anywhere? It's getting pounced saleswise in every market worldwide currently. With the US as it's only main form of significant sales this gen, it's looking at a rather low install base. I can see it doing slightly better lifetime sales than the original xbox, mostly due to America's love for the brand. But worldwide, this gen belongs to Sony.

Didn't Nintendo just announce this last week in their direct? This isn't really a leak as far as I know. Could be wrong but I think there was a Wal-Mart exclusive Mario kart bundle and this one along with a 2ds Mario kart 7 bundle .
Any news yet if and when we can save photos and music to our ps4 and use our saved pics as wallpapers like on ps3?

My local Wal-Mart is already selling the camo dual shock if anyone's interested. I'm getting the blue one myself. Don't know if anyone else is selling the camo though yet.
Resident evil remake and revelations 2 has already been announced.
Personally I would love a next gen onimusha, devil may cry, or something else from the ps2/gc era that hasn't had a new installment in several years.

Not an rpg. More like hack and slash dynasty warriors since the makers of that are making this. But still awesome regardless. Hopefully it means a full scale Dragon quest rpg will be next if this does well.
I'm excited cause I don't have one yet and this is the perfect time for me. Just sucks for all the original owners.
Otherwise Nintendo has been on a roll lately with all the news of great new bundles and dlc coming out.
Nope the doubled hardware part was an error. It was only software on xbone that doubled from July. No news yet on hardware sales.
