Although that's not really relevant to this situation, I understand where you are coming from.
How hard is it to put the DLC on a Blu-ray?
They'll greatly increase their profit margins if they actually did a good, reasonably priced DLC set for the PS3.
Wow, great numbers for this type of game.
I would skip it. But for $10, it's not like you are investing a whole lot. Just do whatever you feel like.
Nothing like adding some extremely easy trophies to motivate buyers. Regardless, day 1 purchase for me!
YES!
Unless of course Kojima Productions is working on a new Metal Gear game..In that case, that comes first.
Let's get this hype train rolling!
1) I underestimated the power of the Halo brand. Most of Halo wars numbers are because of the 'Halo' brand.
2) KZ2 wasn't the system seller.
3) Hardware numbers over all sucked. Wii, year over year, took a beating.
I have a hard time believing this.
Regardless, I'm getting it free or not.
Whether it is a hardware or software problem isn’t the issue.. If there is a new BT profile, Sony can take advantage of it by implementing it into new PS3s.
Yeah, that would be interesting. But what more can you add, after the events of MGS4?
Microtransactions/DLC don't become a normal trend. I hate it when developers release a ton of DLC right after a game releases.
Megaton announcement for E3 confirmed?
Why wouldn't it release? This has been the confirmed release date for awhile now.
Sony's marketing team gets to work.
I semi agree with your posts. If Sony plans to remove UMD, that means that they'll be relying on the PSN to use as a medium, to distribute their games. But with that, Sony would be screwing over retail store (especially GameStop) + previously released games.
But then again, besides for PSP games, UMD has failed. There is no arguing that one.
Just because Sony's PR/Marketing team sucks, that shouldn't mean you should blame Stringer.
GTA 5 would never be PS3 exclusive anymore. R* figured out that they can justify production on both consoles, with the help of Microsoft's deep pockets. (exclusive DLC anyone?)
Totally agree. 4-D is not only going to become more prevalent in games, but also movies.
It is. Exclusive DLC is a bad trend for gamers, cutting the market in half.
