I hope that Wipeout HD will make it onto the list, that and Motorstorm PR. Those are my 2 favorite games in terms of soundtrack.
This game like you said is EXTREMELY addicting. Me and one friend have spent hours upon hours every night with this game for the past week. It really is great with friends. The framerate is a serious issue, i find that if you are shooting an enemy with your friend navigating a menu it will be at it's worst. The graphics are good, but soemtimes when you enter an area, the textures will not load for an extended period of time. I am able to completely overlook those issues as the intense axction...
Deffinetly single player. You need to get a feel for the game before you head online. Plus single player has always been the main part of games for me, MP is just a way to keep you playing.
Some guy who works with Nintendo was just on Gametrailers tv. He said that he thinks this game will sell more than Modern Warfare 2. I will sell alot no doubt, but it DEFFINETLY will not sell more than MW2.
I love the genres:
Metal Gear Solid 4
Genre: 3PS/FPS (If You’re Retarded)/Movie
Uncharted
Genre: Tomb Raider With 100% More Male Genitalia
Uncharted 2
Genre: A Game So Much More Amazing Than Tomb Raider That The Comparison Is No Longer Viable
GTA 4
Genre: 3PS/Open-World/Hooker Beating Simulator
Halarious.
Take that!
No matter what console you own, you should play this game. It is alot of fun. The mass array of weapons is so captivating along with all the missions you can do.
Borderlands is REALLY, REALLY fun. Me and a friend of mine have spent multiple hours a night playing this game. The endless array of weaponry, excellent combat, and diverse missions keep the game very interesting. Everyone should at least rent it, if you like RPGS or FPSs or both.
Word gets around that ODST isn't worth the price tag.
Makes sense, Borderlands is the most fun i have had with a game in a verrry long time.
man, that guys annoying.
haha, social tools...
Red steel sucked, so no.
I got dead space for 17.49 3 months ago :D.
I didn't notice a differance in the graphics, but the texture load was deffinetly better on PS3.
Screw the reviewers! I've bought every single game Insomniac has made, and that trend will not stop now!
I used to think the weapon wheel was a great thing, but after spending a lot of time playing R2 and going back to Resistance 1, i realized that its more tedious. Switching weapons feels like a chore. Also, there is a lot of weapons that you never have ammo for. Another thing i found was an issue that i didn't have prior to play R2 was that you have to toggle zoom. Zoom staying on when you let go of the button is just bad controls.
Either way, both resistances were great games....
I don't know why everything says such negative things about R2. I think the inclusion of online co op was enough to make it at least on par with resistance 1. The lack of splitscreen in the campaign was a deffinete downer though.
Online was better for R2 while the campaign was better for R1. It about evened out in my opinion. Either way, i put way more hours into R2(20 hours campaign[2 and a half playthroughs]/25 hours online) than R1 (3 playthroughs[unkown time]/ barely any o...
I found that the campaign for both games were about on par(minus the lack of splitscreen for R2), but the addition of the Online Co op missions really made R2 feel like the better game to me. There was something about playing with 7 other people wrecking the Chimera that i really enjoyed. If there was splitscreen for R2 it would be no contest in my opinion.
Honestly, Co op if what makes this game fun, it's not nearly as good without a friend playing. Mind you, the friend i play with is just as good as me at video games.
