I don't know about you, but in my entire PS3 game collection, there is maybe one scratch. Blu ray has a protective layer on the bottom, and if that is perfected to the point were they actually never scratch, then the disc getting scratched argument will be moot.
Then 36% of people are careless with their possessions... i guess.
Wanting to own them is not nonsensical. People are attached to materialism(myself included). You want to be able to see the collections of games or whatever else, that you spent your hard earned money on.
Also, as previously stated. What if your data gets corrupted, or the precious harddrive itself that you store it on? Then what will you do?

I agree about Fallout 3. The trophies are kinda ridiculous though, because if you want to platinum the game you have to reach level 8, 14 and 20 with all three karma levels. That was the part that took the longest. I have never played a game more thoroughly before.

I've enjoyed alot of games that got less than stellar reviews. I really like Wolfenstein, Neir, and some others i forget. Hell, my favorite series of games for years when i was younger was Dynasty Warriors.
I'd say you stopped 1 game early on that list.
Yes, those were better games when they were turn based, but like with anything else, it gets stale after so many games. WWII shooters used to be good too, until you played a million of em.
