Well MS and Sony seriously needs to bring down the "ban hammer" on some of these people they ruin the game just as much as hackers do. Well I think if there really is a silm (its still just a RUMOR) that is will be a strip down verison of the ps3. Also there is no reason for sony to lower the 80gb and have the silm as a higher price sku. Only reason sony would make a silm is cause it be cheaper to make then the current 80 and 160 ps3. However they might still leave the price at 399 they are still losing money on the current ps3 they sell and at some point they will want to turn a profit
MS isnt worried about the ps3 or at least that has nothing to do why they are lowering the price the elite. They just did a big update to XBL and are doin anothering in a few months. They are really starting to push bigger DLC and they want people to have a bigger HDD so they can buy as much stuff as they can. Sarcasm ps3 reportly has a failure rate of almost 11%. Oh and the 16% was from a survey done 2 years ago. I bet if you went out and got 5000 new 360, ps3 and wii and tested them that they all probably make it within that 3%.
