I thought the demo was decent. I am on the fence about it. I don't care for damage in an arcade racer and when I was playing online there always seemed to be one moron that would drive backwards and crash into people totalling their cars.
Hopefully codemasters will have that fixed in the final version. The car should turn into a ghost so people can't pull that nonsense online. I agree with TheWickedOne there are too many games coming out and I might end up passing on this one ...
