I see what you guys are saying. Either way you are right about MS having problems now that they want to extend the life of the 360. They need to start pushing digital media if they want to keep it going. As far as I'm concerned that is the only way they can solve the physical media problem that they are having. Even digital distribution is not guaranteed cure because some people don't like it and with the crappy way they are handling storage situation in terms of hard drives, its a very sket...
You can pretty much blame that on HD DVD not working out. They laid their cards out just like Sony did with Blu-Ray. Thanks to the porn business(no joke) Blu-Ray took off and the rest is history. MS really had no way of physically getting HD media to users. This gen would be completely different if HD-DVD took off and Blu-Ray didn't.
I'm pretty sure they are more successful whether or not MS says so...keep flaming. Its kinda funny that I have PS3 and 360 and I'm still HAPPILY paying for XBL.

I do agree that the PS3 has better looking games, but if you have seen even the slightest bit of Alan Wake, you can definitely tell that the graphics are getting better.
You make a mistake in assuming that graphics are what make a console obsolete. As long as you still have millions of people playing xbox360 games online everyday, there is no reason to believe it is time for the next MS console. And just because 360 games don't look quite as good as 2 or 3 PS3 games doesn't mean...
You are arguing that multiplat sales are very similar on the two consoles, but you are completely trying to downplay the impact of shooters.

I guess its sucks that theres no smaller font you can type with to make that statement less visible. The way you say it makes it sound like shooters are not important...When the fact is the sales difference between MW2 on the PS3 and 360 is larger than the total sales of Darksiders and AvP on the PS3 combined. Because the 360 is good at shooters, they obviously do not matter, right?

To be perfectly honest, the majority of the buyers of this game are straight men. The majority of those straight male players are not going to be interested in following the male homosexual path. Since I'm assuming that is the case, then why put it in the game?

No where did any PS3 fanboy say that Sony invented Slim. They did however post hate plenty of times in the Open Zone for MS because they are making a thinner model which is exactly what Sony just did. At the same time so did Atari and Nintendo, making the #sshats who were hating on MS complete hypocrites. I'm sure you are smart enough to understand that.

If you read closely, it the same footage that MS used at the 08 E3. This means that the video shown here was made when there probably wasn't a 360 version yet. MS didn't just rip off a PS3 version when they had their own version. They simply used the only one available back at E3 and used it again today. Why waste money making it again, if you have a perfectly good video right there.

I have multiplats for both systems. Try playing Bioshock 2 on PSN and compare it to XBL. Its a completely different online experience, and not in a good way. The same friends bought the PS3 version and then sold it to get the 360 version after we tried playing it on PSN. This is the reason I still happily pay for XBL. I can play a multiplat on PSN with the same friends as XBL, but I choose not too.
