@NightmareLuffy
You are WRONG it is a PS Vita that plays on the TV.
The PS Vita (portable) will also stream PS4 games.
Sucks for you, that you hate the name!
I love it, because it makes perfect sense...and it does not confuse consumers by giving the PS Vita a "third name".
Consumers will know exactly what they are getting "A PS Vita that plays on the TV"...
Man... I hope gamers are pressuring Sony´s Playstation Executives to give us a date for EU/NA.
;)) "The Angry Gamer"
@What's not to like?
Haters: It´s a Sony Playstation product.
Newspaper opinions on gaming and its devices is always a waste of time.
Good looking out.
Trust me when I say that, when most gamers get hold of a PS Vita, they suddenly realize what a great device it is and how vast the game collection is.
But I guess the PS Vita is a head of its time and people can´t seem to realize it´s the best handheld gaming gadget ever made.
Exactly and as DarkHeroZX said " The point of the PS Vita TV is to make the entry price for the vita obtainable so that they can sell software"
Exactly, Sony is giving options, instead of a missed opportunity.
You and other consumers proves this.
@DJMarty
Offtopic: Never heard of "BRIT" being offensive, "Yankee" to some degree but "JAP" is most definitely offensive and has been so since WW2.
The country abbreviation for Japan is JP not "Jap".
I think you are right about the size of the apartments, what about the TV sizes, do they go for smaller flatscreens too?
PS Vita TV failed in such extent, that it sold out of stock in one day on the JP Amazon.
This exactly what the PS Vita needs, not just being a PS4 accessory, but a standalone console that can; If one wants to; interact with the PS4. This will benefit the portable version with more games being developed and gives an option to consumers who otherwise would not have been wanting to buy the portable one.
I said yesterday;,I would will not be surprised if "this thing" outsells the portable one, which is ok, because it will benefit all of us PS Vita gamers in...
Kaz takes it Eazy ;)))
@LOL_WUT
Do not agree.
It is a PS Vita, so why should it have been called something else.
The name is genius, no confusion, consumers know exactly what they getting: A PS Vita they can play on their tv with all the perks.
I saw "the thing" and I immediately thought; WANT!
Great news! Can´t be released soon enough in the west.
Yes great Idea indeed, now we just need a EU/NA date...
Andrew I know you are reading this! make it happen as soon as possible ;))
LOL Major just got his neogaf account approved and the first thing neogaf does! is to troll him...greatness ;)))))
Would be good, sometime around December, but realistically probably around february next year.
