I have a feeling this game will move consoles, especially if advertised correctly. Gran Turismo has a loyal fanbase and I'm sure there are many GT fans who are waiting until the "official" GT5 comes out. Hopefully this will help them next year if it does come out in 2009. But knowing Yamauchi, it'll probably be released during Q4 of 2009.

Well I guess dropping it too low wouldn't be a good idea for Sony since it's still expensive. Maybe until the PS3 comes down in price then they could drop to to $299. Hopefully sometime early next year. :)
But think about it, if they reviewed the retail version, then this game would have been off the scale! :D

Wow, there are only around 15 million PS3s and 21 million 360s so it amazes how Ubisoft made more money on the PS3's software sales than the 360.

Yes! Thank you Sega! This is how developers should start doing in their game! Make the install optional if it doesn't significantly cut the load times! And thank you for the choice of the Japanese voices!!!
A hardcore gamer to me is someone who knows video games inside and out. They talk about it more than the average gamer. Someone who tries to unlock whatever they can in the game and know who made the games. That's what a hardcore gamer is for me and they don't necessarily have to own more than 1 console.
