The Yellow Light of Death is a relevant problem with the PS3. I my self have suffered from it (20 gig). And if you do some research you will find that it is more common with the first generation models (60 &20). You don't hear to much about it because it doesn't occur at such a high rate as the RRoD. But to let you know it does happen and exist.
Unless they are dropping prices on movies (blu-ray) I can care less.
They look identical. Played them both today. You may have to adjust you brightness level depending on your TV settings but in all they are identical. They both have trophies and achievements. The only difference is that they had a collectors edition for 360 and the PS3 version comes with two demos on the disc.
Bottom Line the PS3 is a better deal. Nothing to argue. Which system you want is up to you. Some things are facts others are opinions. This is a fact.
Rip Off
Of course they will sell more because they are going to rush first to market again which in their PR eyes will count as the end of this current generation. Sony has no chance because if they get to close Microsoft will bring out a new system while there on top. (not including Wii)
Of course a price drop will have a huge effect on 360 sales. the only problem is that the majority of them will be used. I work at a gamestop and hands down we sell more used systems then new when it comes to 360s. They run for 189.99 and 199.99. If there is a price drop then those prices will have to drop too. At that point someone would be crazy not to consider getting one. I think if the price drop rumors are true sony will have no choice but to react with either their own price drop or o...
Nice $pin
After my 20 gig caught the yellow light of death. I traded it in at my job and bought a 60 gig. I went through this movie drm BS myself. When I called Sony they told me to create a new psn account for downloading movies. Haven't had time to try it yet though.
