Yeah because the Tales of series is still living in the past isn't it? Persona is still living in the past. Pokemon is still living in the past. Basically all the great J/RPG's that we continue to get who HAVEN'T drastically changed their core gameplay are all living in the past in your eyes.

I don't care anymore and I say this is a HUGE Final Fantasy fan. SE has lost it's way taking priority over pretty pixels to actually making great games again. Not to mention the shift to action-adventure button mashing over turn-based tactical gameplay has saw the FF series drop in quality drastically over the years. They're a shadow of their former selves at this point.
I'll start caring again when they release a proper FF game again.

Nintendo did good to bounce back from the Wii U disaster, but 2017 is the Year of Playstation. Far too many great games and a superior console. I'm not just talking graphically.
